Children's Case Management
By creating a family-focused and
family-centered system of care, Porter-Starke Services addresses the
comprehensive needs of children and adolescents with serious emotional
disturbances and their families. Case
Management services are provided to children and families who struggle with
mental health issues. These services are provided in the child or
adolescent's home and community. Services can include therapeutic or
mediation services within the home between parent and child, help for the parent
in accessing appropriate financial, health, or psychiatric services or
networking with other agencies as needed. Further services include crisis
management, budgeting, health assistance and advocating on behalf of the client
and family. Children Services Case
Managers also provide assistance to the parent in designing and implementing
in-home behavioral programming to help the child or adolescent accept and
interact within appropriate limits and to engage in positive behaviors and
experiences within the home and community. |
