“A Healthy Way To Start Thanksgiving Day!”

Valparaiso Turkey Trot

A holiday tradition since 2003, the Valparaiso Turkey Trot brings together families and friends from all over the country (31 states represented in 2015!) to kick off Thanksgiving Day. This annual event includes a 10K Run and 5K Walk/Run through the streets of Valparaiso, Indiana. Hosted by the Porter-Starke Services Foundation, event proceeds benefit mental health and wellness programs and resources in Northwest Indiana. With over 3,900 runners and walkers in 2015, the Valparaiso Turkey Trot continues to be the largest race of its kind in Northwest Indiana. Walkers, runners, sponsors and volunteers - everyone's presence on Thanksgiving morning supports and promotes mental health and wellness in our communities. Join us in 2016!
