Porter-Starke Services provides on-site group, individual and family therapy, as well as case management and psychiatric care at Porter County Educational Services. This program strengthens the overall continuum of care and offers improved access to local psychiatrists and treatment to eligible children and adolescents.
Porter-Starke Services provides alternative school services to students attending Boone Grove, Hebron, Kouts, Morgan Township, Washington Township and Wheeler High Schools. These students must be referred to the alternative school by the student’s home school principal. Students of the alternative school receive two hours of educational instruction provided by a licensed teacher and one hour of therapeutic social skill development facilitated by a Masters-level therapist.
