Individualized Interview Process
A prospective resident may telephone 219/531-3500 to schedule an evaluation for admission. Following a formal assessment, program staff will work with you to develop a personalized plan that meets your immediate and long-term needs. Plans may include:
- Intensive Outpatient Chemical Dependency Services
- Relapse Prevention
- Family Therapy
- Mental Health Services
- Referrals To Other Resources
Criteria
To become a resident and maintain residency at the Women's Recovery Home, the resident must:
- Have a substance abuse diagnosis
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Receive substance abuse treatment at Porter-Starke Services
- Attend Alcohol/Narcotics Anonymous meetings
- Be medically stabilized and free of substances
- Pay weekly rent
- Follow house rules and expectations
- Have prescription medications monitored by the house manager
