Home-Based Therapy

Home-based therapy provides services to children, adolescents, and families. Engaging with family members in their household helps therapists incorporate a range of clinical, practical, and advocacy services for family members that are consistent with the family’s values, learning styles, lifestyle, circumstances, and culture.

Staff conduct a comprehensive, strength-based and behavior-focused assessment and collaborate with family members and referral sources to create goals and a treatment plan. Supervised visitation and therapeutic supervised visitation can also be provided by Child and Family Services staff.

Home-based therapy is provided based on an assessment and/or through a referral. If you are interested in this service, please contact the Admissions Department at 219.531.3500 or speak with your provider if you are currently a client of Porter-Starke Services.
